Why do I need to verify my age?
The sale of alcohol is strictly regulated in all countries. We are required by law to verify that all customers are of legal drinking age in their jurisdiction. This is typically 18 in the UK and most of Europe, 21 in the USA, 19 in most Canadian provinces, and 20 in Japan. You will be asked to confirm your age when entering the site and at checkout.
Can I order a specific vintage or release not listed on the site?
Yes. Our concierge team can source specific bottles on request. Contact us with the details of what you are looking for and we will do our best to locate it — often within 48 hours. We have access to the world’s major fine wine and spirits auctions as well as direct producer relationships.
Products marked ‘In Stock’ are available for immediate dispatch from our bonded warehouse. Products marked ‘Pre-Order’ are available to reserve and will dispatch on the release date. Products marked ‘Enquire’ require individual sourcing — contact us.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and bank transfer for orders over £1,000. All transactions are secured with 256-bit SSL encryption and full PCI DSS compliance.
How are bottles protected during shipping?
Every bottle is individually wrapped in protective foam or bubble wrap, placed in a custom-moulded inner tray, and enclosed in our rigid outer packaging. For wine, bottles travel horizontally to keep corks moist. For spirits, bottles are fully upright. All packages are fully insured.
We currently ship to the UK, EU, USA, Australia, Canada, Japan, Singapore, and Hong Kong. Certain countries have restrictions on alcohol imports — if your destination is not listed at checkout, please contact us. Please note that some US states restrict direct-to-consumer alcohol shipping.
What happens if my order arrives damaged?
In the unlikely event that a bottle arrives damaged or broken, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the damage. We will arrange a replacement or full refund immediately. Your order is fully insured during transit.
We cannot accept returns on opened bottles. If you believe a bottle is corked, oxidised, or otherwise faulty, contact us immediately and we will assess on a case-by-case basis. Genuine wine faults are covered — we stand behind every bottle we sell.
How should I store fine wine at home?
Ideal storage conditions: 10–14°C, 60–70% humidity, away from light and vibration, bottles horizontal (for corked wines). A purpose-built wine fridge is the minimum recommended investment for serious cellaring. We can recommend storage solutions — contact our team.
